WorldWide Local Salads is a family-owned business run by Matthew & Grahame Dunling. The business follows growing traditions for five generations. However, Matthew is following in his Father’s footsteps as he is not afraid to experiment and stray from outdated practices. They have just finished several major projects in Middle East where Grahame is living up to his nickname in the horticultural business – Mr. Salad. Being involved in numerous indoor vertical farming projects in UK and around the world, WorldWide Local salads built a substantial network of reliable partners and suppliers.
About Flextech Solutions
Flextech Solutions is a grow lighting company headquartered in China, but with various agents and sales representatives around the world. The company is actively improving its portfolio and together with Worldwide Local Salads have worked on balancing the light spectra of its lighting fixture. After years of collaborations and experiments, both companies conclusively have decided to sign an MOU and enter into a partnership.
Once again, the innovative and experienced minds of the Dunling’s are pursuing perfection in the industry and choose Flextech Solutions LED lighting fixtures to build one of a kind indoor vertical farming in Hull, United Kingdom. The farm in Hull, East Yorkshire is the equivalent of 10 container farms in half the space and will be completed by the end of 2022 and will supply local and national outlets with Gourmet Salads. Already they are in talks to build a larger bespoke facility to supply the world’s largest fresh pre-packaged sandwich maker with 5 tonne of lettuce a week. Along with this they’re also involved in a global sustainable community project, which aims to build self-sustaining communities around the world.
